This 52 acre campus is located on the west side of Bangkok, embraced with Bangkok Metropolitan Park and Youth Center. It is the main campus of KMUTT. It houses Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, School of Energy, Environment and Materials, School of Information Technology, School of Liberal Arts, the Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, Graduate School of Management and Innovation, Institute of Field Robotics, Institute for Scientific and Technological Research and Services, Computer Center and KMUTT Library.
Location
Not more than 45 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, you will reach to KMUTT which is located in ‘Thonburi’, the name of former capital of Thailand. Half a century ago, this area was full with orange orchard and it was remote and underdeveloped. However, as KMUTT yearly enrolments increased rapidly, the area soon became a new satellite city with ever-increasing shop-houses, apartment buildings, restaurants, cinema houses, department stores and places of entertainment. In addition, in just 25 minutes, you can reach downtown of Bangkok: Sathon, Silom, Siam, Sukhumvit by many means of comfortable.

By Car
From Suvarnabhumi Airport
1.
Use Motorway No. 7. Head inbound for Srirach Expressway leading to Thonburi. Leave the Expressway at the Suksawat Exit. Turn left onto Suksawat Road then keep right. Make a u-turn at the traffic lights. Then turn left onto Pracha-Uthit road. Continue on Pracha-Uthit for 5 kilometres until you see the University on your right. This route takes around 45 minutes.

Get on the Bangkaew Outer Ring. Pass Bangna and merge into Buraphavithi Express Way. Get off at Daokhanong Exit onto Suksawat Road. At Kilometre 9 Junction, turn left onto Pracha-Uthit road. Continue on Pracha-Uthit for 5 kilometres until you see the University on your right. This route takes about 40 minutes. Bangkok CODE – Bangkhuntien Campus 8.15 am – 6.40 pm
From Don Muang Airport
On Vibhavadi Road, head south towards Dindaeng Expressway. Cross Rama 9 Bridge, with Chao Praya River underneath, Leave the Expressway at the Suksawat Exit. Turn left onto Suksawat Road then keep right. Make a u-turn at the traffic lights. Then turn left onto Pracha-Uthit road. Continue on Pracha-Uthit for 5 kilometres until you see the University on your right. This route takes around an hour and 15 minutes.
From Downtown Bangkok
From the Victory Monument, get on Expressway from Petchburi Road. Head south. Cross Rama 9 Bridge, with Chao Praya River underneath, Leave the Expressway at the Suksawat Exit. Turn left onto Suksawat Road then keep right. Make a u-turn at the traffic lights. Then turn left onto Pracha-Uthit road. From Wong-wien Yai BTS Station
depart at Exit 4. Walk until the end of the intersection and turn left onto Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Rd. Take a taxi or Buses No.’s 21 or 75.

By Tuk-Tuks
The popular Thai motor tricycles are fun to ride but could be dangerous. If possible, you can ride in a tuk-tuk only for a short distance. You will need to bargain with a starting price of 30 baht.
By Motorcycles
During bad traffic, motorcycles are more convenient. You can find many motorcycle stops at the entrance of soi – sidestreets. Although it is convenient and popular, but it is risky. Helmets for both the driver and passenger are required by law. Again, you will need to bargain with a starting price of 20 – 30 baht.

Parking
There are many parking lots, with free of charge, scattering all over the campus, please notice a sign. Plus, in the near future a parking lot which can occupy not over than 400 cars will be served in a 14 story-building with a reasonable price.
KMUTT Bangkhuntien Campus
It is 20 km away from the Ratburana Campus, with total area of 80 acres. KMUTT in Bangkhuntien includes School of Architecture and Design, School of Bioresources and Technology, Pilot Plant Development and Training Institute and Industrial Park.

KMUTT Ratchaburi Learning Park
This is located in Ratchaburi province with total area of 460 acres. This site is highly suitable for teaching and learning, conducting research, providing academic services in the area, and disseminating knowledge about technology and arts. The campus can be developed into the country’s “Western Educational Park /
Industrial Park”. A program in Information Technology has started since 1996.
Location
Ratchaburi province (Chom Bueng Distric), is approximately 130 kilometres from Bangkok. It is located west of Bangkok and borders on Myanmar to the west having the Tanaosi Range as a borderline. Neighboring provinces are Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and Phetchaburi. The province is full of cultural heritage, historical sites, beautiful landscapes and natural attractions such as floating markets, famous temples, flower and fruit farms, hot springs, waterfalls and caves.

By Bus
Both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal for Ratchaburi daily. It takes 2 hour to Amphoe Muang, and local buses are provided to Chom Bueng.

KMUTT has designated the KX building to be the center for facilitating the exchanges of knowledge, echnology, and innovation capability between, and among, KMUTT and its academic allies, forward- looking manufacturing enterprises especially SMEs in the strategic sectors, and public organizations, in order to elevate Thailand’s technological and innovation competency, while KMUTT’s faculties and students are granted with opportunities to gain experiences from “Real World” issues, and opportunities to work on eal demand-driven researches
Location
King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is constructing a 20 floors building (including the basement) on Krung Thonburi road near the BTS Skytrain “Wong Wian Yai” station, just across the Chao Phaya river from the Sathorn road via the Taksin bridge. Its total area will be approximately 28,000 square meters, or around 1,300-1,400 square meters per floor.
